On Sunday 26/05/2024, I will be dusting off my running shoes to take part in the AJ Bell Great Manchester Run 2024 to raise money for The Lewy Body Society. Why? The answer is simple: My mum suffers with Lewy Body Dementia. Despite this being the second most common type of dementia, it is the one nobody has heard of. Thanks to the efforts of The Lewy Body Society this is changing. I am proud to raise money to support them on their journey.
The last time I ran the Manchester 10k was in 2015 (raising money for the British Heart Foundation (which is another charity close to my heart (no pun intended)) when I completed it in a palindromic time of 50:05. If I could match (or beat) that time, I’d be chuffed.
I’ve set a fundraising target of £400.00 but I’m hoping to smash that.

Any contributions are welcome.
